For residence of an adopted child the parents must meet an extensive list of requirements. The adoption procedure is usually handled by specialized adoption agencies.

As a foster parent you must first obtain legal custody of the child and have a so called foster-contract. Furthermore you must have a sufficient and durable income at their disposal.
